Andrea Miller grew up in, and is currently living and working in the Minneapolis area. She studied at the University of Montana in Missoula and graduated with honors as a University Scholar. Andrea began creating "inner landscapes" at the age of 14 and has been developing her process since in order to represent her thoughts and experiences. Andrea has been fascinated with and influenced by a range of artists from Eva Hesse, Christo and Jeanne Claude, Cy Twombly, Paul Klee, Ann Hamilton, Marc Chagall and Joseph Beuys. Through her paintings, Andrea aims to gently challenge the viewer while sharing her encounters with the world.
