I have been painting and sculpting for as long as I can remember. As a child I sculpted horse heads in bars of soap and was trained to become a canvas painter. I was instructed for several years, in technique and color which is ironic because I am partially color blind. Fortunately I know what I can't see and have developed a method that works for me. As an adult I became heavily involved in technology and running public companies, which explains the large gaps in my work. I love to research and study sculpture, ancient civilizations and their architecture. I have been influnced by Greek, Roman, Victorian, Gothic, Egyptian, Mayan, Etruscan, Medieval cultures and their arts. I have studied the works of Bernini, Rodan, and Michelangelo. My goal has always been to understand the masters techniques and their genius.
