Anita joins the art scene after a long successful career as a classical musician, church organist and teacher. Having always had the desire to paint she began studying oil painting in 1991. Since than she has been creating and selling fine art in oils and mixed media of the subject matter she loves: Flowers, Beautiful Scenery and the Sea. Anita expresses on canvas the beauty and richness of content and color that nature has so kindly given to us. Anita had the honor of winning the "Best of Show Award" at a local art festival this past year.
A mostly self taught artist, Anita continues to broaden her knowledge through attendance at various workshops and seminars taught by nationally known artists. She has completed a course of study with nationally known artist Gary Jenkins of Jenkins Art Workshops and is a Jenkins Certified Art Teacher. (JCAT)
Anita lives and works in Apollo Beach, Florida where she enjoys the beautiful Florida Sunsets.
