Born in LA, my parents moved back to their hometown, San Antonio, when I was six months old. It was when I was in 5th grade that I really started drawing, entering school competitions and garnering favorable recognition.
I began oil painting when just a newlywed and looking for something to do! Over the years, I have developed a syle of my own, preferring to work from photos of locations that I have visited.
I would have to describe my work as close to photo realism as possible. This is the only way that I feel that nature should be represented. |
