 James L. Elkins was born in a small town in the South, the son of sharecroppers. He was a sickly child with dreams of being an artist. But Fate is a jokester. He became a healthy adult and graduated from a well known university with a degree in microbiology. For years he labored as a small cog in the machinery of huge corporations.
Fate gave him to opportunity to pursue his childish dreams. He left the corporate world and moved to Mexico, where he has a rich and full life. He has taught himself how to paint and has found considerable success. He has paintings in collections from Mexico City to Virginia. |
