Although for over 20 years, Nancy Chadwick worked in a variety of art media -- from paint to fabric -- it was only in 2001 that she decided to make art her livelihood. Her quilts reflect not only a keen sense of color and artist's eye for composition, but the execution in fabric of dramatic, original and unique designs as well.
Her work has been published in Quilter's Newsletter Magazine, juried into several national and international exhibitions, including the fourth Biennale (an international juried and judged exhibition and competition of art of all media) to be held in Florence, Italy in December, 2003, and XXX Aniversario Batik in Barcelona, Spain in September, 2003.
Private & public collections include Ken Burns, Jeff Shaara, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame. "A Nation Torn" will be featured on the cover of the upcoming CD by nationally-renowned musician, Tad Marks. |
