Inspired by one of my older brothers I started drawing at a very early age. During my senior year of high school, the art assignment was to pick your own art project for your grade, and work on it at home. My choice was an oil painting; that was my first painting! A few years later my first few paintings were put in two small galleries in scandinavia. Two of those paintings (which included my first painting) were stolen. Between my work schedule and training to make the olympic team in weightlifting, I did not have much time to concentrate on my art. In 1989, after a trip to New Zealand I started putting more time into oil painting; and slowly developed my style of imagination in landscapes.
